Kicking off the Trek in Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park
Our first 3 days were awesome. We have so much to tell you. Our kick off at the Canada Border was surreal, emotional and very long awaited. We had one foot in Canada and one foot in the US. The support team left us with a huge blessing. We had off and on showers all afternoon. Our guide Chris from the Glacier Wilderness Guides gave a great bear talk and coined the phrase " Yo BOO!" for scaring off bears.

As we walked through the Belly River Canyon, there were so many wildflowers and all colors of the rainbow. We are really lucky, the flowers are only this magnificent every 7 years. We had 6 miles to hike and the time flew by. We camped in near the Ranger Station in Gable Creek Campground.
