Team South is zooming north on ATVs and SUVs and today they zoom into Flagstaff. Flagstaff is a cool mountain town between the Coconino National Forest & the Kaibab National Forest, with the Kachina Peaks Wilderness just to the north.

Flagstaff is not just a vibrant gateway community to the forested mountains and crimson deserts of the Colorado Plateau-- it is also a city steeped in a thousand-year old history. The ancestral Puebloans have left hundreds of archeological sites throughout the area, and the San Francisco Peaks, which dominate the Flagstaff skyline, are considered sacred by many local Native Americans. Tomorrow the team will spend the whole day soaking up the beauty and the culture of this wonderful town.
