One More Day....
Team South is within spitting distance of their final stop-- Pine Valley campground in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest-- where they'll meet up again with Team North and then continue to Salt Lake City for the final National Public Lands Day celebration.

As they enjoy one final lazy day in the autumn sunshine, they may take this time to contemplate their last two months, and the wide variety of lands they've seen, people they've met, and public lands issues they've learned about. Certainly, they have learned to appreciate that our public lands are big enough for everyone to be able to enjoy, but also that there is no area without its controversies. They have learned about Native American uses of the lands, motorized uses, ranching, and wilderness. They have spent days traveling through the wilderness, encountering no one, and also traveled in giant packs of ATVs. Each member of the team will take home the message of our public lands heritage, and hopefully encourage their friends, loved ones, and students to learn more about our amazing heritage, and more importantly-- to go out and enjoy it!
